Someone left a wireless radio on the end of my bed - I'm not sure where it came from, but I'm testing it out to see if it's... from a questionable source, but after that, I'm keeping it in the packaging and hiding it until Potterwatch this evening. If you're going to be in the Hufflepuff dormitory tonight, you're welcome to come to the seventh year girls' dormitories. I'm... not sure I want this to go much further than who we know we can absolutely trust, since Hufflepuff has been exposed before.
I'll be telling Jo and Ling. Logan and Sarah, invite who you will from Hufflepuff six, but choose wisely, please, I don't think it should go any further than that.

There's a Potterwatch broadcast tonight and that package on my bed was a wireless. I don't know where it came from, but it can't be a coincidence that it appeared the same evening. So there may be others joining us tonight, we shouldn't share this with anyone else. Not after Sarah was exposed about the bracelets.

I'm torn. Doing this without Ernie is an all around uncomfortable prospect. Who's going to be the backbone for Hufflepuff now? I certainly would be rubbish in his place, none of us quite had the way with words he did, or that ability to draw everyone's attention. He may doubt himself, but he's been a good leader, and I wish he'd realise that. He and Padma both, as well as Neville. My aunt would be prond of all of them, just like she was impressed with Harry.
I do worry about the younger years and those in the Resistance thinking it looks to grim to go on. Still, everyone has their limits, and Merlin knows I can't talk when I've been faking the Cruciatus because I don't think I could handle the abuse in the dungeons week after week... I've put my foot down now, but Ernie's been refusing since the start, since the Imperius. Can anyone really be upset with him for finally taking a step back now that we have a secure way to do so? It's not as if he's running away. The DA might be able to actually do more with the tunnel we have available and less people getting tormented in the dungeons every week. I'm still concerned about what they'll do to get at them, or us, once we're forced to collect there, but what is getting tortured every week really doing in the meantime?
I'll be glad to get Stephen's sisters through the RoR and safely to the outside world. I'm concerned his loyalties are torn right now, and I don't want him to give up on us because of it. What he wrote to the resistance gives me some hope, though. Maybe he's feeling more comfortable now that he knows we could get his sisters out of the castle if need be.
So much to do, so much... I've color-coded my list, and still nothing to help Padma. Buggering-
I'm eighteen, now, aren't I. Oh well.

I'm sorry for the other night, about Padma. I shouldn't have snapped at you, I was just frustrated that there's been so little I could do, and immediately after dealing with Zacharias's Obliviation all week...
I suppose I was also frustrated that so few of us knew what would be happening. Not that we could have truly done anything to help, but at the time, I thought maybe if we had known... I don't know. It's not an excuse, but I am sorry. About everything that's happened.
In case anyone was wondering as to the well-being of the Muggle we met in our classes last week, Blaise Zabini murdered him with the Killing curse at the end of the seventh year's session last Friday, with the encouragement of the professor. If anyone is still unsure what kind of administration Hogwarts currently has, I don't believe you need much more information than that.

I don't know if I did something wrong. He was supposed to think it was a mutual break-up between he and Lavender. Or at least an argument where blame could rest with both sides - what else have I messed up? What else did I ruin or- or take away from him
I had to though, I had to, for everyone. We're safer this way. He's safer. He consented but now he'll never remember giving that consent and it feels wrong
I can't keep nearly breaking down over this. We have too much to do. Something's happening, things are moving ahead faster than we were prepared for. I don't like being rushed, I like things orderly and- and in a list to check off and with time to look at things a second or third time, to double-check but we don't have that luxury anymore and I feel like I'm drowning and nothing is helping.
It'll be the dungeons again today, but at least I don't have classes to be late for tomorrow because I'll need to shower five times and brush my hair until it sits right and

I know there's a lot going on right now, but to give everyone a heads-up:
I have wiped all the names and faces and the RoR from Zacharias's mind. We'll have one more session tomorrow night to wipe this obliviation process from it as well, and then it will be done. I'm going to be telling him he had a slip on the staircase and suffered a minor concussion to explain the blanks over the last few nights and any residual memory-troubles he may have as his brain re-acclimates. Please, please do not talk to him about it after tomorrow night. I'd even advise against talking to him about it until then since it will just give me more to erase later, but we don't want to isolate him either. This is going to be difficult for him, so I guess I'm just asking everyone to understand that, even if anyone doesn't agree with his decision to leave us.

I'm beginning Zacharias's obliviation tonight. It will take a few sessions to get everything, which I'll conduct over the next week. Please take him off any wards having to do with the DA, and please don't approach him about it from now on.
He'll be remembering 5th year, but he won't know that he rejoined this year. He'll remember the skills he learned, but he won't know where he obtained them.
I'll be leaving intact some of the Resistance information for now, but will have implanted that he made a decision to leave it after his injuries on the 15th. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

I've talked with Zach, calmly. He's agreed to the Obliviation. I layed out how it would work and the approach we would take - that is, pieces at a time, rather than trying everything in one go. That way I'll be able to be more accurate and more likely catch if things are going wrong. I'd like to start tomorrow night, and he requested that Hannah or Ernie be there to help solidify the new memories we'll be creating, and honestly, it would be good to have one of you helping me and the other keeping look-out, guiding anyone approaching away. We'll need as much peace and quiet for concentration as possible. I'll spend the day creating alternate scenarios he may need for specific situations, and we'll start from the very shallow to eventually delve deeper - but he should also be taken off any Dumbledore's Army wards as soon as is ready.
If we want to explore other options for anyone else who may want to leave us, we should, but I think it should be open to more original DA members, not just the four of us. I understand for Zach, he is our close friend and that's why we're involved here, but other input could really help and would be needed were it not a Hufflepuff. We just don't have the time to apply this to Zach. Whatever we come up with, there needs to be a group consensus and then the DA needs to know that's the consequences that we're dealing with. If we're to assume that original DA members and certain individuals are the "leaders" of this organisation, we need to approach it from a morale standpoint. No more surprise or behind-the-scenes second options once we make our decisions. If we're going to be a committee of sorts, we need to be honest and upfront, especially with each other, but not to the point where we let things slip that could create panic to the newer members, or that we may not be able to follow up on.
Also, I don't mean for this to sound like a lecture. I'm sorry. I'm no better, at all, I've just seen it happen, and my aunt always said... these things.

Madame Pomfrey saw to Seamus - she caught me, but I doubt she'll say a word. I'm hoping she reversed the effects of the potions in his body. I was able obliviate him enough, but he was in extremely rough shape. Apparently the Slytherins were encouraged to have at him these evening, and Sarah told me they used his disorientation and hallucinating to their advantage. I would not be surprised if he's extremely confused or rattled when he's conscious. Let us know if there's anything we can do, Gryffindor.
Also, Sarah is fine, just in the dungeon, though I don't know for how long. She doesn't seem to have been hurt at all and just looked shaken from seeing them do so much to Seamus.
